What we collect
When you request availability or book a shoot, we collect what you give us: your name, email, phone number, event details (date, venue, guest count, notes), and your chosen payment method. When you order an album, we also record your photo selections and order details. Payment sent by Zelle or Venmo happens inside those apps — we never see or store your bank or card details.
Your photos
Photos we deliver to you are stored securely with our hosting providers and are accessible only through your private gallery link. We don’t sell or license your photos to third parties. As part of our service terms, delivered photos may be featured in our public portfolio and marketing on this site and our social media — if you’d prefer yours stay private, tell us in writing and we’ll honor it.
How we use your information
Only to run the business: confirming availability, coordinating your shoot, delivering galleries, fulfilling album orders, and matching payments to bookings. We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for third-party advertising.
Where it lives
Our site runs on Vercel, with booking and order records stored with Upstash and delivered photos stored with Vercel Blob storage. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security practices. Online galleries are retained for six months — see our gallery retention terms.
Cookies
The public site works without tracking cookies. A session cookie is used only for the studio admin login. We don’t run third-party ad trackers.
Your choices
You can ask us to correct or delete your information, or to take down your gallery early, any time — email picsbyjc@picsbyjc.nyc.
